Dream Centre: Shiro Ava Pendo

Age: 3.5
She was abandoned at a Daycare in Nairobi in Oct2024. Shiro is quiet and thoughtful, choosing her friends carefully—though anyone who gives her a toy quickly wins her over. She’s eager to go to school and prefers playing with younger children. She loves her daily nap and especially enjoys meals with eggs and ugali. Her adorable lop-sided smile may be related to a deformity in her ear, which is being checked.

Dream Centre: Niall Clarke Ushindi
Age: 3 months old
This baby was placed in our care on May 9 after his mother, overwhelmed with financial difficulties, left him at the hospital with a note expressing her inability to care for him. Now, at one month and three weeks old, Niall is settling in beautifully at the Dream Centre. He is thriving and is a wonderful little baby. A sponsor named him and it means Champion, Scholar, Victory

Age: 2.5
Tiffany was abandoned at a daycare centre and brought to the Dream Centre weighing 19 lbs. She cannot sit unsupported, crawl, or speak but understands spoken words because she has cerebral palsy and rickets. She is now on medication for rickets and will undergo occupational therapy to support her development. Sponsorship is needed to ensure her continued care and treatment.

Rwanda: Nathasha Ineza
Age: 7
Before joining the church, Nathasha’s mother was a sex worker, but now attends regularly after meeting Jesus. Due to ongoing illness and medication, she is too weak to work and struggles to provide for Nathasha. Nathasha has never known her father, and her mother cannot identify him. The church is doing its best to support them, but resources are limited. With monthly sponsorship, Nathasha could have a stable and hopeful future.

Rwanda: Gad Murindwa
Age: 2
Gad was found abandoned near a house, and despite efforts with local authorities, no one has claimed him. The guardian, already caring for her children, took him in and struggles to provide his basic needs. Gad never knew his parents, which made him an orphan. He survives on porridge and a few fruits, but it's not enough. With a sponsor’s help, Gad can grow up healthy like other children. He does not speak well at all.

Rwanda: Confiance Kayirebwa
Age: 3
Confiance’s mother, once a sex worker, became pregnant and frightened, then began attending church. She suffers from mental illness and is unable to care for her daughter. Pastor Alphonse and Sarah have lovingly welcomed Confiance into their home. They need support to provide her with food, basic needs, and a better future. Confiance does not know her father, and her mother cannot identify him.

Rwanda: Joshua Izikurinda
Age: 6
Joshua’s mother, once a street prostitute, gave her life to Jesus during a recent crusade and now attends church faithfully, though she still battles trauma and illness from her past and is unable to work or care for him. Joshua lives with his elderly grandmother, who lacks the means to provide for his basic needs. Despite her struggle to provide for him she attends church with him. Sponsorship will help meet the basic needs Joshua needs.

Rwanda: Junior Cyomoro
Age: 6
Junior’s grandma took him in after his parents died, but she is too old to meet all his needs. Junior has chronic breathing issues and struggles even when playing. He lives in poverty with no mattress, or proper food. With sponsorship, he has hope to grow up healthy and strong and able to attend school and get an education. He wants to be a fisherman.

Rwanda: Samuel Mugisha
Age: 9
Samuel was abandoned by his mother at the age of 2. He was living with his grandmother, but she has passed away. Samuel was found living on the streets without food, clothes or health insurance. A night patrol brought him to Pastor Modeste. He is malnourished and immediate medical care.

Rwanda: Honnete Uwase
Age: 4
Honnete lives with her mother who suffers from a chronic disease. She struggles to supply for her basic needs, and her father has passed away when she was very young.
Honnete is a beautiful girl, full of hope. She loves being neat and tidy. She enjoys playing and singing with her friends.

Rwanda: Ineza Ihangane
Age: 2 months
Ineza's mother passed away during childbirth. Her father struggles to work and raise her on his own. She is given bottles, but requires support to allow the father to be a successful single parent to a young baby.

Rwanda: Ivan Hirwa
Age: 6
Ivan had been born into good conditions but tragically both of his parents passed away. He suffers from chronic respiratory weakness, likely ashtma. He lives with his elderly grandmother, who is not able to meet many of his basic needs, he often goes without food.
He loves to play with his friends and dreams of one day becoming a medical doctor.

Rwanda: Angel Masengesho
Age: 2
Angel and her mother live in extreme poverty. Their home has no door or windows, and the roof barely keeps the rain off them. Her mother's health is not good.
Angel is a beautiful girl, and very intelligent. She is known as a girl of hope. Sponsorship would mean she can begin her education in the fall.

Rwanda: Ariella Niyobyose
Age: 1
Ariella is a beautiful little girl. Her father passed away before she was born and at 3 months old her mother left her in the care of her grandmother. However her grandmother struggles to provide for her basic needs, and she often goes hungry.

Rwanda: Brian Iradukunda
Age: 5
Brian is a young handsome boy full of hope. Even living in horrible conditions he is able to keep a positive outlook on life. He likes working, helping his grandma by bringing home fresh water and cutting firewood. He dreams of joining school like the other children in his area.

Rwanda: Brigitte Mukangabo
Age: 3
Brigitte has lost both of her parents. Her mother passed away this past year after a long battle of sickness. Brigitte lives with an aunt and is a beautiful little girl who enjoys playing with her friends. She attends a Home Church small group with other young children in her community. Sponsorship will ensure Brigitte receives regular meals and is able to attend school in the fall.

Rwanda: Diane Byukusenge
Age: 9
Diane was born into a modest family. She is sweet and quite innocent. She helps to support her family, taking care of younger siblings. She suffers from malnutrition and is on a special feeding program to help. She wishes to go to school and study so she can better support her siblings.

Rwanda: Dieu Mercy Uwimana
Age: 2.5
Dieu Mercy is a wonderful young boy. His mother is 17 and living with HIV which requires a lot of treatment. Even though Dieu often goes without food and clothes he is always smiling. With sponsorship he will receive medical care, food and the ability to attend school next year.

Rwanda: Elisee Miwemuremyi
Age: 5
Elisee is a happy boy, but his father passed away from HIV and his mother was a prostitute. Elisee dreams of being a teacher one day and sponsorship would allow him to go to school. He loves to play with is friends in the village, especially if it’s a game of football.

Rwanda: Elissa Iradukunda
Age: 3
Elissa is a good boy who loves playing with his friends and often can be found at the church playground. He dreams of being able to drive a truck and help support his aunt and overcome poverty. He also dreams of going to school. With sponsorship he will be able to attend in the fall.

Rwanda: Emmerance Sengutuje
Age: 5
Emmerance was abandoned by her mother and lives with an elderly guardian who is unable to work. She enjoys praying and playing with th eother children in her village close to the church. She dreams of going to school and one day becoming a business woman.

Rwanda: Felix Dufitishimwe
Age: 6
Felix lives with his mother. His father abandoned him and his wife. Felix has to believe every day for food, he has never had a new pair of shoes or nice clothes. Due to lack of finances his mother has been unable to provide regular food for him or send him to school.

Rwanda: Grace Irakoze
Age: 4
Grace is a beautiful girl who plays well with her friends. She loves to pray and attend church with her grandmother. Her mother has HIV and very little hope. Grace and her mother live with her grandmother, the church provided them with health cards, but sponsorship would help her attend school and have regular meals.

Rwanda: Heritier Nduywayo
Age: 5
Heritier is a good boy. His mother gave birth to him at the age 15, after a traumatic event. We do not know who his father is. They live in horrible condition, with their only support from our Home Church in Kigaga. Sponsorship would enable not only Heriteir to begin school but also allow his mother to complete her education as well.

Rwanda: Moubarak Twahirwa
Age: 1
Moubarak was abandoned by his mother, who is a prostitute and suffers from depression and poor health. We do not know who his father is. Moubarak lives with his grandmother. She tries to provide for her grandson, but needs a miracle to keep going.

Rwanda: Prince Niyomizero
Age: 2
Prince's parents both passed away in the past year. His elderly grandmother graciously took him in, but she is too old to work and providing for Prince is very difficult, they go without food and other basic neccessities. They attend our Home Church in Cyuru.

Rwanda: Teta Nkunda
Age: 1
Teta's mother was manipulated by a man who then got her pregnant. She was then rejected by her family when they found out about the baby. They have no home and she has no job. They live in the bushes. Teta's mother brings her to be apart of our HOH feeding program. She spends her day picking up garbage and is struggling to survive.

Rwanda: Julius Isubirizibyiringiro
Age: 1
Julius was born out of rape. This traumatic event has left his mother traumatized and not mentally able to provide the love and care he needs. They live with his grandmother who is trying in vain to feed and supply for his needs.
