Social Worker: Marggie
Marggie has been serving as a social worker at the Dream Centre for five years, with a total of 15 years of involvement that began while she was still in school. She finds deep fulfillment in rescuing and placing abandoned babies into loving homes, a calling that is personal to her as an adopted child herself. Some of her hardest moments come when a rescued child does not survive or when foster and adoption placements are difficult and costly to secure. Currently single and focused on personal growth as God leads her, Marggie enjoys outreach work, visiting vulnerable communities, traveling, and socializing. Kenya: Alice
Alice joined Home of Hope in 2021 and brings joy and enthusiasm to her work every day. She is known for uplifting her team and maintaining a positive, caring atmosphere. Her joyful heart and consistent service play a big role in creating a loving home environment for the children.

Kenya: George & Janet
George risks his life to go into the slum and rescue babies who have been thrown away in the dump. He also helps desperate women who are about to throw away their babies who see our sign that says "Don't Throw Away Your Baby". He gets 10-15 calls every single day.
Janet is the overseer of the Pregnant Mothers and Stella Project. We rescue single mothers out of the worst living conditions you can imagine, we rescue them, train them, and help them to be self-sufficient and moved out of the slum in one year.
Kenya: Diana
Diana is the lead caregiver at the Dream Centre, overseeing the Dream Centre Operations. She has a passion for what she does, now over 10 years! She trains all the caregivers and updates rescued babies’ information to the sponsors and the daily operation of the Dream Centre.
Kenya: Jonathan B.
Jonathan is 27 and has been connected to the Dream Center through the Kariobangi church, where he initially volunteered. Raised by a single father, he faced many early challenges but persevered through college-level studies. He now works to ensure the Dream Center is a peaceful, welcoming place for guests and staff. Jonathan’s kind nature and presence are a comfort to the children, and he enjoys spending time with them during his free moments, helping create a cheerful environment.
Dream Centre: Cecilia
Cecilia has been volunteering with HOH for since 2008 and is a part-time staff. She gets updates on HOH sponsored children in the Korogocho slum and visiting them as well as the unsponsored children. She also ensure that sponsorship is used properly. Watch this video.
Kenya: Anastacia K.
Anastasia, a single mother of a teenage daughter, joined Home of Hope as an intern in 2014 and became a social worker in 2015. She manages legal documentation and records for all rescued children and oversees their transitions into adoption, guardianship, foster care, or reintegration. Anastasia finds deep satisfaction in seeing children placed with loving families. Despite battling blood pressure, diabetes and blindness, she remains passionate about her work and its impact.
