She was abandoned at a Daycare in Nairobi in Oct2024. Shiro is quiet and thoughtful, choosing her friends carefully—though anyone who gives her a toy quickly wins her over. She’s eager to go to school and prefers playing with younger children. She loves her daily nap and especially enjoys meals with eggs and ugali. Her adorable lop-sided smile may be related to a deformity in her ear, which is being checked.

Ian was rescued from being abandoned behind a police station. Today, he is a wonderful boy. He loves attention and cuddles from everyone. Ian has a good appetite and feeds with no issues. Ian will often cry for no reason, except for wanting to be held. Ian responds to his name when called and will babble. He is loved by the other kids and caregivers, and everyone who meets him.
Dream Centre: Brianna Rae Neema
Age: 7
Brianna was abandoned and left for dead as a baby. She is doing well at the Dream Centre and is a joy to be around. She enjoys school, especially English, and loves playing football. Brianna is very outgoing and confidently stands up for herself, even with older kids. She still enjoys cuddling, helping fold clothes, and spending time with the babies, though she may cry and shout when upset. Brianna dreams of becoming a nurse one day.

Kenya: Peter Wamalwa
Age: 13
Peter's father died of HIV, leaving his mother and 4 siblings destitute, moving from home-to-home seeking help. Peter loves going to school and especially enjoys learning about politics. He hopes to attend college to study politics and pursue a career as a political leader. At church, Peter serves on the ushering team and enjoys being part of it. He loves helping others, spending time with his good group of friends, and playing soccer.
Rwanda: Elisee Miwemuremyi
Age: 5
Elisee is a happy boy, but his father passed away from HIV and his mother was a prostitute. Elisee dreams of being a teacher one day and sponsorship would allow him to go to school. He loves to play with his friends in the village, especially if it’s a game of football.
Rwanda: Gold Beza Nyaramba
Age: 8
Gold is a humble girl. After the death of both parents her brothers and her went to live with her aunt. She helps with keeping the home in order and enjoys playing with her friends. She excels in school and sponsorship would ensure that she can continue her education as she dreams of becoming a doctor and helping others.
Rwanda: Elissa Iradukunda
Age: 3
Elissa is a good boy who loves playing with his friends and often can be found at the church playground. He dreams of being able to drive a truck and help support his aunt and overcome poverty. He also dreams of going to school. With sponsorship he will be able to attend in the fall.
Rwanda: Heritier Nduywayo
Age: 4
Heritier is a good boy. His mother gave birth to him at the age 15, after a traumatic event. We do not know who his father is. They live in horrible conditions, with their only support from our Home Church in Kigaga. Sponsorship would enable not only Heritier to begin school but also allow his mother to complete her education as well.
Rwanda: Fiona Mushikiwabo
Age: 10
Fiona was abandoned when she was just 4 days old near a hospital. Today, Fiona is doing well, but with sponsorship should could thrive. She enjoys helping with household chores such as doing the dishes and folding clothes. Fiona likes listening to Bible stories, and she enjoys music and soccer. She also enjoys doing crafts and coloring. Fiona has a nice group of friends she plays with at church.
Rwanda: Jayden Ssozi
Age: 2.5
Jayden is a handsome boy, who is always smiling and enjoys playing with his friends. He lives with his aunt after both his parents passed away from HIV. He has an older brother and sister. His aunt is unable to supply for all their needs and sponsorship would ensure he is able to attend school and have basic needs met.
Rwanda: Prince Niyomizero
Age: 2
Prince's parents both passed away in the past year. His elderly grandmother graciously took him in, but she is too old to work and providing for Prince is very difficult, they go without food and other basic neccessities. They attend our Home Church in Cyuru.
Rwanda: Ivan Hirwa
Age: 6
Ivan had been born into good conditions but tragically both of his parents passed away. He suffers from chronic respiratory weakness, likely ashtma. He lives with his elderly grandmother, who is not able to meet many of his basic needs, he often goes without food.
He loves to play with his friends and dreams of one day becoming a medical doctor.
Rwanda: Brigitte Mukangabo
Age: 4
Brigitte lost both of her parents last year and is living with her aunt. She has begun attending preschool and is so happy to be learning. She loves playing with the dolls and coloring. Her and her aunt attend church every week and she loves going to the kids class. She is a joy to be around and loves to make others smile.
Rwanda: Grace Irakoze
Age: 4
Grace is a beautiful girl who plays well with her friends. She loves to pray and attend church with her grandmother. Her mother has HIV and very little hope. Grace and her mother live with her grandmother, the church provided them with health cards, but sponsorship would help her attend school and have regular meals.
Rwanda: Ineza Ihangane
Age: 9 months old
Ineza's mother passed away during childbirth. Her father struggles to work and raise her on his own. She is given bottles, but requires support to allow the father to be a successful single parent to a young baby.
