Ever since my trip to Africa, my life has been changed!
I met a girl named Chantelle and did not know that she would make such an impact on my life. I was speaking in a village and proceeded to ask for a “dance battle” with one of the children… This girl jumped right up and challenged me and danced her heart out!
After speaking, I asked my interpreter who the poorest child in the village was - it was this girl!
I decided to sponsor her that day and gave her some of the items I had brought with me from Canada. I was told by Home of Hope that one of the best ways I could help her was by buying her a health card, which gives her free medicine and treatment for 12 months.
I got her one and now just by sponsoring her every month - everyone in her family was able to buy a health card as well!!
