Why Transition Rescued Children into Families?

Once we rescue a child and receive full custody, we begin preparing them for the next step, which is joining a safe and loving family.
Why do we place children in families instead of having them grow up at the rescue centre?
Psalm 68:6a says, “God sets the solitary into families…” God’s original plan is for people to live in safe and loving families.
We can all agree that children need families, not institutions. Families provide the care, belonging, and encouragement children need to grow, thrive, and become all God created them to be.
For this reason, our Dream Centre serves as a temporary stop for a place of safety and healing while we work to place every rescued child in a home.
It is like a layover rather than the final destination.
So, we’re working hard to fight for families. We want to get every orphaned and separated child home to a warm, loving family.
We’ve set up over 50 kids with families – and more coming.

- Put your name on the Waiting List for naming and sponsoring a rescued baby.
- Sponsor a child temporarily living at the Dream Centre
- Donate towards needs at the Dream Centre (ie Caregivers, food, diapers)
- Apply to join a team to see the Dream Centre first-hand
