A Rocky Start:

Esther arrived at the Dream Centre when she was just six months old, weighing a mere 3.6 kilograms (7.9lbs). Her early days were marked by illness and hardship. Tragically, she had lost her mother, leaving her with no one to care for her fragile state. She had been diagnosed HIV+. With her mouth full of painful sores, feeding became a challenge, and her chances of survival seemed bleak.

The dedicated caregivers at the Dream Centre poured their love and care into Esther's life. One individual, Evelyn, who is no longer working at the center but left a lasting mark, went above and beyond for Esther. She refused to give up and took Esther to the hospital so many times. Esther's first five years were a rollercoaster of hospital stays and battles against illness. But then...

To everyone's astonishment, and defying all odds, at one and a half years old, Esther was declared HIV-negative!! After many prayers, she was healed! It was so exciting!

With continued support from her sponsors, who faithfully provided medication and food, Esther's health improved day by day. Today, at the age of 13, "Queen" stands tall as one of the healthiest children at the Dream Centre, a testament to the power of love, resilience, and Jesus' healing.
