This weekend, we heard a story that was too good not to share—one that shows how even the smallest acts of kindness can make a huge difference.
On May 25, When Pastor Brian came to our church and let us know that there is a need for sponsors, we felt it would be a good opportunity for our 5-year-old son, who has an egg and vegetable business. We had been talking to him about the importance of giving back a portion of our income to God.
He chose Derek Adili and is excited to sponsor him. In Sunday school, the kids have been learning about how God is the tree and we are the branches - and he mentioned later that day that "this is a way to bring love and joy to the tree".
Josiah committed to give $30 each month to sponsor Derek.
