Sponsorship brought us our house… What?!

Would you believe me if I told you that you can “sow” funds as a sponsor and “reap” in other areas of your life? Just like you sow a seed into the ground and later reap a fruitful tree.
This is a Biblical principle that has been proven time and time again.

Here is an amazing example of a miracle of almost an immediate “reap” from a HOH sponsor:

“In October 2017, my husband and I felt like God wanted us to start sponsoring a Dream Center baby. However, at the time there weren’t any new babies needing sponsorship and we were put on a waitlist.

Then in January, we found an amazing home that we have been believing for. At the time our family of 7 was living in a very cozy, 3 bedroom home. We desperately needed more space and a home closer to our church & school. We knew it would take a miracle to get the house. We put in an offer and were in negotiations. Things weren’t looking very favorable.

About the same time we got a call from Hillary in the HOH office. They had rescued another baby. Suddenly it didn’t make sense for us to add a large monthly sponsorship. We needed a house, our payments were going to be increasing substantially. We had to make a choice. Were we going to hold on to our money, or were we going to step out in faith and believe the Bible when it says that if we take care of orphans and widows, God would take care of us?

We took the step and started sponsoring our baby boy Joseph. The HOH team came into agreement with us for our miracle house. Within a week of our decision to sponsor this baby we received miracle finances for our down payment, the offer on the house was accepted, our bank financing came through and the house inspections came back with flying colors.”

Wow.

Here at Home of Hope, we believe in the Bible and the amazing principles that it teaches. Many sponsors have applied this “sow and reap” principle and it is always very exciting when the sponsor reaps a harvest bigger than any of us could have ever expected.
